Business Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in Gelato Café. We have invested in excess of $2,000,000 and developed systems and tactics over a six year period which gives us an advantage in developing new points of sales specific to gelato. We are currently looking for partners (not franchisees) and licensees to expand our operation on a national level.
We have several programs to offer qualified applicants:

Business Mentorship (established businesses)

- Gelato Café takes on a role as your consultant. We provide information necessary to add gelato to your established business or enhance your current operations.
- Services provided will be customized to your individual needs as they apply to your business plan and structure.
- Initial investment for this program varies greatly do to the individual nature of each deal.

Partial Partnership (New or established businesses)

- Gelato café becomes a partner in the Gelato portion of your business plan. This can be applied to both established locations that wish to add gelato to their menu and new businesses that are still in their development stages.
- We assist by providing equipment as well as training and general policies and procedure that apply to the gelato portion of the retail operation.
- Initial investment is limited on your part since equipment cost will be the burden of Gelato Café. Instillation cost will be applied to you as well as travel cost and expenses to provide training to your staff.

Joint Venture

- Gelato Café may consider a joint venture with qualified partners.
- Services provided will be in exchange for equity in the partnership. Gelato Café will assist with initial business plan, location selection, equipment purchases, store design, operation policies, staff training, production selection and marketing.
- Initial investment will vary depending on the type of establishment that is created:

* Kiosk $90,000 to $200,000
* Mini Café $160,000 to $240,000
* Full Café $240,000 to $400,000

Licensing

- Gelato café will provide a license for use of the Gelato Café registered trademark along with the concept. License can be applied to kiosk, full service establishments or add on to established businesses.
- Services provided include an analysis of the current business plan/ operation. The use of trademark, training of staff and management, special rates on gelato and equipment purchases.
- Initial investment varies depending on the amount of on site assistance that is required and ranges between $5,000 and $35,000 (indicated investment does not calculate equipment and build out). A 4% fee calculated on monthly sales will also apply during the term of the license agreement.
